The figures shown are estimates based on our reading of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 & Cabinet Resolution No. 1 of 2022, general MOHRE guidance, and, where relevant, the older Federal Law No. 8 of 1980 for background context on rules that predate the current law.
Results are estimates, not guarantees
Every result is produced by applying the general rules of federal law to the numbers you enter. It cannot account for every clause of an individual employment contract, sector-specific regulation, free zone authority rule (such as those in DIFC or ADGM, which run their own employment regimes), collective bargaining agreement, or pending legal dispute. Two employees with identical salaries and tenure can be owed different amounts once contract-specific terms are taken into account. We make a genuine effort to keep the underlying calculation engine accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that any figure exactly matches what an employer, MOHRE or a court will ultimately determine in your specific case.
